We would like to share with undisguised pride the information that fills our hearts with pride. Sister Mirosława Góra, director of our hospital, has been honored with the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for her social and humanitarian activities. This is the second most senior civilian order, next to the Order of the White Eagle.

Our mission is continuing. Thanks to the commitment of many people, local residents can count on professional treatment. The last six months have only emphasized how much good can come from a strong spirit of solidarity and a willingness to help others.

Together we can do more Despite the continued growth of the facility, the needs of the local community are still overwhelming at times.

We received a new anaesthesia machine, it is a gift from the Zambian Ministry of Health.
It is an essential piece of equipment for every operation because it it tremendously improves the safety and monitoring of the patient's condition.

A dream has come true in Katondwe – and one that was truly needed. We’re thrilled to share that in March 2025, our newly built Neonatal Ward officially opened its doors. This is a huge step forward for our patients and the entire hospital team. The need for such a facility has been growing rapidly, especially with the increasing number of births and the importance of caring for both mothers and their newborns.

The activities of the Afriquia Foundation, which is friendly with us, are not only medical assistance, but also building awareness of those in need. Mr. Bartłomiej Osadnik, MD, the president of the Foundation, was recently a guest on Dzień Dobry TVN (a popular Polish morning show), where he talked about our work and the challenges we face. Thanks to this, we can reach a wider audience and encourage them to support our activities.
